Harvest season is one of the busiest times of the year around here, so when the last grapes are in, we think that deserves a celebration. Harvest Fest is our chance to come together, have some fun, and give back to some incredible people who serve our communities. The fire service is a profession near and dear to our hearts, so this year we’re raising money for the Anamosa and Monticello Fire Departments. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to split between them, and every dollar raised from our silent auction and donation boots throughout the weekend will go directly to the departments.

The Large Midgets have been part of the Cedar Rapids music scene since 2000, playing everything from local festivals to opening for Candlebox at the Linn County Fair. The Sanderson Sisters are taking over the courtyard! Tiny witches, superheroes, dinosaurs, princesses, monsters—and whatever else they convince you they absolutely have to be this year. Bring the kids dressed in their Halloween best for our Harvest Fest Kids Costume Contest. We can’t wait to see what they come up with!
Okay, grown-ups—this one’s yours. Our panel of judges will be watching, so this is not the year to throw on cat ears five minutes before you leave the house. We’re ending Harvest Fest with a trip back a few decades. Awed Man Out is a group of seasoned Iowa musicians pulling favorites primarily from 1965–1975, with everything from The Beatles and Neil Diamond to Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and plenty of unexpected stops along the way. Silent Auction - Benefiting Anamosa & Monticello Fire Departments
Our Silent Auction is about more than winning something great—it’s about giving back to the people who show up for our communities when we need them most.Throughout Harvest Fest, October 23–25, bid on a variety of silent auction items benefiting the Anamosa and Monticello Fire Departments. Not a bidder? Our donation boots will be out all weekend, too, so you can toss in a few dollars—or a few more—and help us get closer to our $10,000 goal.Every dollar raised through the silent auction and donation boots will be split between the two departments.
